Nicholas J. Kelley
Originally from California, Dr. Kelley earned his Ph.D. in Social Psychology in 2015 from Texas A&M University. He continued his academic journey as a postdoctoral researcher at Northwestern University from 2015 to 2019 before joining the School of Psychology at the University of Southampton, where he has been a member of staff since 2019. His research integrates social psychology and neuroscience to explore the mechanisms underlying self-regulation, existential concerns, and emotional processes. Outside of the lab, Dr. Kelley enjoys watching baseball, cooking, and hiking.
